Voicesonline, a webzine which is the brainchild of advocate Ruhail Choudhury which is trying to promote friendship among students across the world with various online activities hosted the Dr. Radhakrishnan Award for the third consecutive year on Saturday 3rd September 2022. The ambassador from Denmark His Excellency Freddy Svane was the chief guest of the event. This year, too, important contributors to the field of education were inducted into the growing bank of eminent educators awarded by the webzine. The award is to recognise and share the exemplary achievement of eminent educators who continue to impact impressionable minds through their works, ideas and words. In the previous years, we had the likes of L.W.Hartnett, Gurmeet Bindra, Rupkatha Sarkar, John A Bagul, Sunita Sen, Sumit Dargon, Joyeeta Mukherjee, Srabanti Basu, and Joeeta Basu who were recognised and felicitated for their outstanding contribution in the field of education.
This year, the webzine felicitated Kalyani Patnaik, the Principal and head of Hiranandani International School, Mumbai, Girja Shankar Agarwal, Chairman, Seth M R Jaipuria School from Lucknow, Imran Zaki educationist and philanthropist from Kolkata, and Prof Federico Jarast, Scholar & Teacher from Argentina with the prestigious Dr Radhakrishnan Award.
The webzine, recognising and respecting the growing need for inclusivity and international mindedness, invited dignitaries like Tanmoy Chakrabarty GGO Tata Sons, Zafar Iqbal IAS, Adv. Anoop Bose and others to share their perspectives and views on the significant issue.
The recipients and panellists realised and endorsed the importance and need of giving students across the world their 'own voices' and therefore a platform like www.thevoicesonline.com with over six lakhs readers across the world becomes imperative.
The leadership of the school is on worthy shoulders and Mrs. Kalyani Patnaik is tirelessly working to enrich and empower the faculty to grapple with online teaching.
“A Sound Mind in a Sound Body" - is at the heart of this institution and we believe it will remain in the hearts of our students as they go on to tackle their dreams. Our children will stand on par with the rest of world whilst never forgetting the strong Indian cultural heritage that a Hiranandani institution esteems.
We believe in partnering with parents and communicating with them to evolve and share the vision of the school for its students. Our school provides holistic education in a safe and vibrant learning environment and offers a range of opportunities that are structured to promote excellence, confidence and self esteem in every child.
