Hiranandani School recently organized an engaging historical event for students of Grades 7 and 8, aimed at bringing history to life beyond the classroom. Held on the school campus, the event featured dramatic re-enactments, and student-led presentations focusing on key moments from Indian and world history.
The highlight of the event was dramatization where students dressed as famous historical figures such as Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Singh, Shivaji etc shared important facts and stories from their chosen figure’s life. This interactive format helped deepen the students' understanding of different time periods and cultures.
Teamwork comprised, the history teacher at the helm affairs was Miss Sheetal Kant along with other social science teachers. It was indeed a great day and the judges found it stimulative and highly informative History may repeat itself, but it also comes alive. And teaches each one of us about heroic deeds, mistakes, and good systems, While we correct mistakes done in the past. We also imbibe values. This has been the main mission of Hfs students at middle school section.
Overall, the event was a great success, sparking curiosity and appreciation for history among the students. It encouraged teamwork, research skills, and public speaking, making history both educational and entertaining.
